**Dallas County High School students shine at the Weaver Castle Art Depiction Contest!**
1st Place $100.00 - Cory Wharton
2nd Place $ 50.00 - Dillion Kinard
3rd Place $ 25.00 - Bodie Schoulin
Honorable Mentions went to Tyler Roberts, Kristin Riley, Audrey Saviory and Shawn Chandler.
Open to 10th-12th grades. Use any Medium. Submit your art work on November 14th to the Kathryn
Tucker Windham Conference Room - Selma/Dallas Public Library 9-12pm. Pickup 2-5pm.Winners will be matted for free and displayed
at The Frame Shoppe. A trophy and winnings will be awarded on November 21st. Promoted by Weaver Castle Organization

We were at Market Day to raise money and awareness on October 10th 2009.
For six day we were at the Lion Club Fair to raise money and awareness where we won a third
place prize for our booth October 5th-10th 2009.
Congradulations to Gladys Powell of Selma she was the winner of two tickets to the
Christmas Celebration in Music concert giveaway in October 2009 at the fair.
Congradulations to Lamar Chatham of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. You had the winning bid for the signed
Nick Saban football in June 2009.
Weaver Castle Organization is auctioning a signed - "Roll Tide
Nick Saban" - University of Alabama football. If you wish to bid please send us an email or write us with your name, full
address, phone number and your bid amount (see below for email and mailing instructions). Multiple high bids will be
part of a drawing to be held on June 1st, 2009 and all bids must be received by May 30th, 2009. The winner will
be notified on June 1st, 2009. Bidding starts at $200.00. No one on or related to any board member is eligible to bid. Remember
